Wrapping paper, not a carton
Kraft paper wraps an item or interleaves goods. It does not replace a box when the goods need walls, and it does not replace void fill when the problem is an empty carton. It is the sheet you put around a product before it goes into a mailer or a carton, or around a parcel that only needs paper.
The category describes brown kraft paper rolls for wrapping items and parcels, as a lower-cost and lower-impact wrapping. The eco-friendly page says the rolls are 100% recycled kraft, recyclable and biodegradable.
The rolls we describe
The category says the rolls are ribbed and machine glazed, and 88 gsm. It says they are stocked in a range of widths and lengths. Choose the width that covers the goods without a large overlap you then have to cut away. Sheets are in the same category when a roll is more paper than you want on the bench.
Kraft paper tape is a different product. It is the paper packing tape in the tapes category, not a roll of wrapping paper. Gummed paper tape is the water-activated version of that seal.
Other papers
Tissue paper, including acid-free tissue, is for wrapping that must not mark the goods. Newspaper offcuts are the basic void and wrap paper. Honeycomb paper rolls are a cushioning paper, closer to void fill than to a wrapping sheet. Copier paper is the office ream, not packaging.
Kraft paper bags and kraft takeaway bags are in disposables. They are carrier bags for food, not wrapping rolls.
Ordering
